What our amazing Clients Say
Personal training in Glasgow Review

Ken Carson

Team up with Allan and you’ll give your body and mind the best exercise and training possible. I’m approaching mid-50’s, I know, I don’t look it, ;-) I am self-employed running a busy, wealth management and financial advisory business and can easily sit in my chair for 10 hours at a time, and this has been the case for years. This, clearly, was only going to have ONE outcome and not a good one.
I felt humbled by Allan's qualifications and was convinced I would be way below the standard of person or type of client he’d want to train. I was wrong. Since starting with Allan, I look better, I feel stronger, I have a stronger mind, I am writing more business than I have before, ever.
With his quiet but encouraging approach you are left with NO illusions that he really DOES care. He’s a professional. He’s a champion weightlifter. He trains OTHER personal trainers! That itself is the best review possible. Why use the rest, when you can have the best. Do yourself, your mind and your body a favour and contact him. You will be so glad you did. I am.

I have been receiving Weightlifting Online Coaching and training programs from Allan for the past 4 months and I am delighted with the service.
I have been assisted to make massive jumps in performance and have broken many Personal Bests in this short time. I had hit a wall in my previous training regime and training with Allan has really progressed me onto the next level.
I really enjoy the bespoke nature of the service I receive. My programming is tailored specifically for me, and focuses on the areas I need to improve. I would certainly not be performing at the level I am without the level of expert coaching I receive.
I regularly receive feedback, and Allan is incredibly accessible with a great manner and attitude to fitness."

I started training with Allan in April this year and this was my first ever PT experience. Since then I have gained valuable knowledge and exceeded the physical results I could have only dreamed of achieving before starting! Having no previous knowledge in weight training, I am now confident in knowing how to train independently and correctly using racks, free weights and body weight exercises including achieving my first ever pull up (yay!) and also eating correctly which I struggled with massively at first, Allan provided consistent support and recipes which kept me going throughout. I tracked my results on the strengthcoach app from day 1 to present, its great motivation and I’m over the moon looking at my log of results! I’d highly recommend strengthcoach training for whatever you’re looking to achieve, I’m confident you’ll find it here. Its been the best investment I have made in myself which I will continue to progress with! Thank you again Allan."

I’ve been training with Allan for two years and during that time Allan has helped me with my goals. Through that time I have achieved some amazing PBs as a result of his coaching skills. After suffering an injury Allan has helped me regain strength and we are still working on rebuilding my strength and recovery. He has a great understanding of what my goals are and I would highly recommend him."

I started training with Allan around 6 months ago after attending a couple of his specialised workshops - I found these very helpful straight away for improving my technique in the lifts covered in these workshops. I had started to learn a little Olympic lifting last year and was looking to get back into it, so after attending these workshops, I was confident Allan was going to be a great coach for me.
Since then I have improved both my snatch and clean & jerk technique and find both lifts a lot easier to execute than I did before (which I am amazed at as I always thought I was pretty rubbish at them!) Allan’s tips and tweaks in my technique has also given me the confidence to train these lifts on my own, which I was always scared to do before!
Allan’s Strength Coach Glasgow app is also awesome for tracking your progress and motivating you to do better than you did the week before and it’s great to always have a plan when you walk into the gym to do your session (something I always struggled to make up on my own!)
From all of this, I even gained the confidence to compete in my first ever competition in November, at the Scottish Open, and was totally stoked with my results - I PBd my clean & jerk and gained a new total overall! Without Allan and his great coaching, I wouldn’t have the confidence and knowledge I have now and certainly wouldn’t have ever competed - so thank you Allan for being an awesome coach, for always being encouraging and for believing in me 🤗
If you’re looking for a coach to help you achieve your goals and make you the most confident you’ll ever be in the gym, Allan’s your man."

Highly recommend Allan as a trainer. Really knows his stuff. Tailored workout to suit individuals. Was always apprehensive about a male trainer but Allan is a very respectful and professional trainer."
