I’m delighted to share with you that I’ve been selected by Origym to be honoured in their Best Personal Trainer in Glasgow Awards. They asked me to answer a couple of questions in order to help aspiring personal trainers which I’ve shared for you below. What inspired you to become a personal trainer? I'd been going to the gym noticing positive benefits to both body and mind while studying Sport and Physical Activity at University. I quickly realised that there was a huge misunderstanding among my student peers never mind the general public on how to improve your health and fitness. Since then, I wanted to further my own education and experience in order to simplify the conflicting messages out there to make health and fitness actionable and accessible to all. What one piece of advice would you give to an aspiring personal trainer? It is better to be effective than to be right - Meet your clients where they are at and work towards moving forward 1 step at a time.
